Qantas and Emirates Partneship

Qantas, the national  australia has made a huge and risky decision to join partnership with Emirates. With this partnership, Qantas (especially its international operation and network) may reduce its loss. Qantas announced that, if Australian Competition and Consumer Comission approved this partnership, Qantas will new routes to Dubai from Sydney and Melbourne. [which mean that 14 daily flights from these cities to Dubai and there will be daily flight between Dubai and London] on A380. And the most important is, the Qantas passengers can enjoy this partnership because, Emirates has excellent network to European cities such as Nice, Manchester, London, Copenhagen and many more. Similar to Emirates passengers can enjoy travelling on Qantas, which has offers better connections in Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands.

Beside of that, Emirates and Qantas frequent flyer passengers can also earn points and lounge services while travelling both airlines.  Qantas will move its international hub from Singapore to Dubai, and suspend loss making route Singapore  - Frankfurt. Qantas may terminate its long time Oneworld partner British Airways. Once Qantas move to Dubai, Qantas will be the only airlines operate Emirates' terminal 3, in which has facilities to accommodate A380.
