Dubai based Airlines Emirates still determined to open new sectors from Dubai to Berlin and Stuttgart. According to Emirates spoke - person, by introducing to these cities, it will boost trade, tourism, employment not only but also to Germany. The airline's expansion would contributr to the properity of both countries and global economy. Germany has been important market to Emirates, it has serves to four main cities in Germany such as Frankfurt, Munich, Dusseldorf and Hamburg. Based on media, it is believe that the German authorities would allow Emirates to fly to these cities with one condition, Emirates need to suspends existing routes. This will be tough for the airlines to decide. Furthermore, German national carrier, Lufthansa also reportedly tried to stop Emirates to fly to these cities, because, the airlines has only serving flights from Frankfurt and Munich to Germany.
So how to solve this problem [my suggestion]
- If Emirates wants to open new flight to Berlin. I recommend to Lufthansa also introduce flights from Berlin to Dubai too with same capacities or jets; capacity as Emirates.
- Lufthansa needs to stop "European Standard" services, try to winning back customers. Finally reduce cost. Most Germans flies with Emirates because of its cheap fare with high quality services.
