My Proposal - My Brand New Firefly

Hi everyone,

This is my proposal of brand new Firefly

Sapphire

No need to form new ones.. 

Hub

All operations from Subang Airport transfer to Kuala Lumpur International Airport, for easy connectivity, reduce the cost and time connectivity, no direct competition with MH. 

Fleet

1. Some of Malaysia Airlines' Boeing 737 - 800s transfer to Firefly.
2. For ATR 72 - 500s, will used for short or low density/load factor route such as from IPH - SIN, MKZ - PEN, KUL - USM (if possible) and so on.

Seat Configuration/ Serving

1.  All seats configures as Economy seats 3 -3. 
2. But, Introduce new cabin class - Premium Economy class. The concept is similar to some European carriers such as Lufthansa's New European Comfort class. Since the seat 3 - 3, it can turn it to 2 -2 by putting table at the middle seats. The seats in new cabin will depends on demands of the sectors/routes. Please click here and here
3. The seats have same inch pitch as in Economy Class
4. The differences to economy class is serving, offers and priority, hot meals, more mileage, access to lounge and so on
5. For Economy class - similar in any airlines economy class.

• For routes are in range within one hour or operated by ATR 72 - 500. The airlines serves Snack Box. The snack box consists of 

1. Bread, Buns or Sandwiches
2. MH's Salted Peanuts
3. Small cup of Juices or Mineral water bottle, Milo and so on.

• For longer routes - Snack box should consist of

1. Two choices of hot meals such as Nasi Lemak, Fried Rice or Chicken Rice.
2. MH's salted peanut
3. Bun/Bread/Croissant with butter
4. Chocolate/Ice Cream/Slice of cake...

Business Class Meal



Example KLM European Business Class

Routes
Domestic

1. Routes in/within East Malaysia should operated by Malaysia Airlines' - Maswings.
2. Maswings should expand its wings to destinations in The Philippines, Brunei, Eastern part of Indonesia.
3. All routes Must code share with MH for convenient and easy connectivity.

Asean

Routes such as BKI - HND, BKI - ICN, BKI - HKG, BKI - TPE, BKI - PER, SIN - PEN, SIN - LGK, SIN - BKI, and SIN - KCH should retain and operated by Malaysia Airlines' Boeing 737 - 800s/ larger aircrafts.. as long as the routes are profitable.

Fore economy class,Overhead Screen TV  should have in the new cabin

Change brand / Possible name?
MAS REGIONAL / MAS Connection / MAS EXPRESS / MAS CONNEXION....hmm  names/brands it's ok... but I hope that MH's management team ...should retained the FY code..

Other option
- Rebrand to MAS REGIONAL/ MAS Serantau /  MAS EXPRESS or so on
- used same cabin uniform  but for IATA code - under FY..
