Rumour: Malaysia Airlines is strengthening its network!

Malaysia Airlines is strengthening its position in Asia by increasing flights and adding seat capacity on selected routes. The plan may starting February/ March 2014. According to airliners route, Malaysia Airlines increases frequency to Dhaka and Hong Kong. In addition, the airlines increases seat capacity to Guangzhou, China by utilized Airbus 330 - 300, replacing Boeing 737 - 800 on one of its daily flights.


Kuala Lumpur - Dhaka
Malaysia Airlines increasing flights from 14 to 18 weekly flights. The flight leaves Kuala Lumpur at late evening at 1820 and arrive at 2020. The retun flight departs at 2125 and arrives in early morning (0325). The airlines may operate by Boeing 737 - 800 with capacity 160 seats on this route.The flight will begin 2 Feb 2014.

Kuala Lumpur - Guangzhou
As mentioned before, Malaysia Airlines increasing more seats by operating Airbus 330 - 300, replacing Boeing 737 - 800 on one of its twice daily flights. The flight will used MH 376/377 code and begin service on 17 Feb 2014.

Kuala Lumpur - Hong Kong
This route is one of the most important for Malaysia Airlines. Due to high demands, Malaysia Airlines will introduce 4 weekly effective on 17 Feb 2014 and using MH 448/449.
