Busy month for Malaysia Airlines


This month, Malaysia Airlines has already announced four great news for Malaysia Airlines' passengers.
They are:
  1. Malaysia Airlines has expanded its code-share agreement with its fellow member of Oneworld, Japan Airlines to Vancouver, Canada. Under the agreement, Malaysia Airlines is place its 'MH' code on Japan Airlines (JL 17/18) flight from Tokyo-Narita Airport to Vancouver. Japan Airlines is operating daily flight on the route and using Boeing 767-300ER. 
  2. Effective from 1st January 2014, Malaysia Airlines is establish a new code-share partner with Ethiopian Airlines on routes from Kuala Lumpur to Addis Ababa via Bangkok. Ethiopian Airlines is national carrier of Ethiopia and also, a member of Star Alliance is currently operating four flights a week on the route. The new code-share partnership/agreement, has giving access for Malaysia Airlines' passengers travel to Africa destinations via Ethiopian Airlines' hub in Addis Ababa. Moreover, it also helps Malaysia Airlines to spread its wings to Africa without operate its own flight.
  3. Beginning from 30th March 2014, Malaysia Airlines will launch its new destination in Krabi, Thailand. The new service will operate Boeing 737-800 with frequency of five times a week flights. Krabi is a one of popular holiday destinations in Thailand. Krabi is located 148.6 km by road from Phuket, has offers with beautiful beaches, islands (such as Phi Phi Island) and several National Parks. Based on timetable. The flight will operate in the morning (1110) from Kuala Lumpur, in order to carry passengers especially from Europe, Australia and Far East Asian destinations. For returning flight, passengers has wide range of connection destinations offered by Malaysia Airlines via Kuala Lumpur. (Latest Correction: The airline will launch the new service to Krabi from 3rd February 2014 with 4 weekly flights)
  4. On the same day (30th Marh 2014) also, Malaysia Airlines will increase its more flights to Taipei, from 12 to 14 weekly flights. All flights to Taipei are operating by 160 seats of Boeing 737-800.map
