[Copy and Paste]

Subang, 4 March 2014: Malaysia Airlines and Garuda Indonesia resumed codeshare cooperation between Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta beginning 3 March 2014. This would give the customers of both Malaysia Airlines and Garuda Indonesia a wider option of flights to choose from.
The establishment will see Garuda Indonesia services from Kuala Lumpur to Jakarta and vice versa carrying the Malaysia Airlines flight code. Malaysia Airlines currently flies 49 times weekly to and from Jakarta. With the establishment of this code share cooperation flights to and from Jakarta will amount to 63 times weekly.
To promote this code-share, Malaysia Airlines is now offering attractive all inclusive return fares to Jakarta starting from RM 504 for economy class travel and RM 1802 for Business class travel.
The code share between the two airlines were stopped previously due to some system related problems. Both airlines are glad to be resuming the code share and strongly believe that it will add value to their operations. -MAS
