Air China launched its second route to Milan Malpensa (MXP) as the airline on 15 June connected the northern Italian airport with its Beijing (PEK) hub. Flights on the new route operate three times weekly, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, with A330-200 aircraft. The Star Alliance airline has in fact served the route in the past, between 1995 and 2005.
